Poem: Butterflies {RandomSkittlehead}

When I was younger I would chase around butterflies
Stunned by their beauty, I wanted to keep them
But who would have thought that he’d be giving them to me for free?

These butterflies are restless
Constantly swarming around even with the slightest glance towards his direction
He’s breathtaking, these butterflies think so too

As lively as they are They sometimes drop, like lifeless birds In the pit of my stomach, it becomes heavy The thought of the possible rejection, their number one enemy These butterflies crave him As do I I will never be rid of these joyous creatures
As long as I know how to love from afar
The butterflies will remain in my life
