The bad day brings memories of days gone by,
The laughter and joys shared when friends were nearby,
The girl reminisces of times spent so carefree, When everyday brought a new tale of glee.
The days seemed so long, but the years flew by, She cherished every moment, never asking why, Fulfilling dreams was the goal of each day, As college life often felt so far away.
Her dearest friends scattered to the wind, Destinations unknown, not knowing where to begin, The girl was alone and felt little sadness, Fell heavy on her heart and spirit of gladness.
Everything went silent, the rain came down, And she started remembering all around, The times shared with her friends were so dear, Replaced her sadness with joy and cheer.
She thought back to when they'd sing and dance, The feeling of hope, never ending plans, The friends that she had, now became an old file, But the memories of them made her heart smile!
