If he only knew the amount of pain he put her through
But he doesn’t have a single clue
She stares at the ceiling in the night
Only wishing for her saving knight
The stars stare down at her with pity
As he unknowingly makes her feel giddy
He sits alone without a care-
It’s not really fair
She gave him her heart
In which he's only tearing it apart
She doesn’t see it now
But wait for the hour to bow
As the realization dwells upon her
She wonders if she could do anything better
But as time grew
She found a stranger in the boy she once knew.
